All our 2021 intakes are closed. For 2022, our intakes are in January, April, July and October. Meaning, if you missed the January intake, then you will need to wait till April to join us.
Training/classes will run by TERM (3months). As such, no gymnast will be admitted into a program midway during a term to avoid disruption and slowing the development of the existing students.

Which Program should my child be in?
We offer Recreational & Competitive Programs :
-Recreational Classes are 1 or 2 hour long once a week.
-Competitive Classes range from 4 hours a week or more, based on their level.
Our coaches will perform the assessment of your child to determine which program they should be in.
For beginners with zero background, they must start in the RECREATIONAL CLASS before going to the next level.

How do I Register my child in classes?
Registration and Enrolment can be done on site, at the gym. Kindly contact us to book an appointment before heading down to avoid any inconvenience.

Can we do a Trial class before committing?
Absolutely! We allow for one trial class, before you commit to enrol your child with us. The Trial class is 1hr long, and fee is RM45 PER CHILD. If you choose not to continue with enrolment, after your child has completed the trial class, you will only be charged for the trial session.
If you choose to enrol your child on that SAME DAY, the Trial fee of RM45 will be waived.

Can I just walk in to gym for the Trial?
No. We do not entertain walk-ins. Only prior bookings/appointments will be entertained.

What should my child wear for a TRIAL session?
Any sportswear - t-shirt or singlet with shorts, or a leotard. No shoes or socks required. Hair should be tied back and no jewellery is to be worn.
How much will it cost?
Enrolments are based only by TERM (3 months). Besides the term fee, we charge a Registration Fee.

Any Registration Fee Required?
Yes. It’s chargeable at RM120 per child. This is a one-time payment, upon signing up/enrolment.
If your child has been inactive for 12months or longer, and wishes to return to the gym, you are welcome to do so subject to space availability. You will need to pay RM70 to reactivate your enrolment.

Can I change my Class Day or Time?
Yes. We are happy to accommodate any changes you may require subject to space availability. To change a class day and/or time you need to get in touch with us, at least 1 day IN ADVANCE.

My child missed a class – can I get a Replacement class?
Replacement class provided ONLY If you inform us IN ADVANCE, and only for valid reason. Otherwise, that class will be FORFEITED. This is because we need commitment and clear communication between the gym and the parents.

What happens if I do not make timely term payments?
As we are unable to guarantee or hold a slot until payment has been received in full, those gymnasts who have not paid will risk losing their spot. A late fee of RM100 will be imposed if payment is received after 2 weeks of a term commencing.

Can we carry forward hours to the next term?
No. All classes or replacements have to be completed in the same term. We understand that things may crop up and classes may have to be missed, in the event of that happening, replacements will be allowed either in advance or after, as long as it is within the SAME TERM. Kindly update us if your child will be absent (min 24hrs beforehand) and if you wish to send your child for a replacement class.

Gymnastics Attire
We sell training and competition leotards at the gym.
Club leotards are compulsory for all competitions but not compulsory during training sessions. Gymnasts may wear any leotard during training.
For Recreational class, they can wear anything sporty & comfortable.

Do you apply Age Restrictions on classes?
Yes. We currently only accept enrolments for those aged 5 and above.

My child wants to participate in the competitive group, how can this be arranged?
Our competitive gymnastics streaming and training are filled strictly by SELECTION / INVITATION by the coaches ONLY. If your child excels during the test / assessment and ready to move up to competitive team, you will be contacted via WhatsApp. It is a big decision to move a child into one of these classes, as it involves a big commitment both financially and time wise, so there is plenty to consider.
Does Artemis close during public holidays?
Yes, Artemis Gymnastics Academy is closed during all public holidays – you can find the dates here. Apart from the dates listed on the Term Dates page we are open as per schedule and classes or holiday programs will be running as per usual.

Do you have adult classes?
Yes. Adult tumbling classes are 1.5 hours per session and is a superb way to keep fit & active, while learning new skills.
This class is also popular with ex-gymnasts, dancers, cheerleaders, martial artists or even parkour runners who wish to polish their flexibility, tumbling skills and tricks.
